I have tried to save entire paychecks and have saved a lot of money up for the coming school year. I started working my second job, totaling 30 hours a week, back in March before I even graduated from high school. I got very little sleep but still managed to earn a 4.0 GPA which I was very proud of. Now, during the summer, I still feel quite busy, but less so. There are always little things on my to-do list. I have been reading and sleeping more though so I feel like even though it has been hard on me, it was worth it knowing how much I have invested in my future.
I am really looking forward to the fall. I am taking five classes but because I got a scholarship for full tuition, I don't have to pay for any of the credit hours. Just textbooks and the gas to get there since I will be commuting. One of the classes I am taking is an art class so that has me quite excited. All the work I've been doing has taken a toll on me, creativity-wise, but I think the class will go alright anyway.
As of now, I plan to spend the rest of summer catching up with reading, cleaning out my room, trying to find time for shopping. Oh, and still work. But I plan on quitting those three jobs soon and finding another. I have always liked new challenges.
